Special Note from Bur Oaks Farm
You will notice a small change in our package label. Our roasted soybeans now are called "Rabble Roasters" and our old fashioned popcorn is now called "Bur Oaks", a change necessitated by a trademark dispute with the holding company Booth Creek Management. Booth Creek owns Petaluma Acquisitions LLC, and the Rosie Chicken trademark, and they have contested our use of "Rosie's" in our trademark, even though our products are in no way similar.
To avoid very costly litigation, which ultimately punishes our customers and Booth Creek's as well, we have voluntarily changed our name. Our products, however, have not changed – we grow the same great tasting soynuts and the world's finest popcorn.
